Warm, cozy and weightless vest is intended as the excellent warming mid layer or standalone piece in cool, dry conditions.

The down is one of the best insulation by its properties (the warmest material per unit of weight), besides the easiest and durable.

But also down can be various! It is specially appreciated (apart from expensive eiderdown) a goose down, and going deep further away, the down of the geese who are grown up in extreme climatic conditions.

Goose down clusters are generally larger than duck clusters, Goose down clusters typically have fewer odor issues unlike duck. Goose down clusters are largely, lighter and keeps heat better than duck clusters.

Because of the presence of a big percentage of fat and oil in duck down clusters, it is necessary to processed it more carefully, due to which it becomes less durable.

As the insulation in the vest “Viesturs” is used the down of the geese who are grown up in extreme climatic conditions of Siberia and the Urals with a ratio of down to feather - 90/10 percent.
