Features: Insulated packing up warm up pants is a typical military seventh layer of the multilayer clothing systems (analogue to ECWCS, PCU, VKPO). Increased wear resistance. Can be transfered in the backpack, being packed into a compression bag, usually worn over the main clothes during stops.

There is a simple bag for packaging in the set, the bag has cylindrical shape with the entrance tightened by parachute cord and Duraflex lock. Attention! Long-term storage in a compressed form is not recommended. The packaging should be made arbitrarily by pressing the pants in the bag, not by rolling them up accurately, so that the insulation would be minimally deformed.

Casual cut, the pants are implied to be worn over the warm thermal underwear and Demi suit (fifth layer).

Full-height side full split zipper allows to wear pants quickly without taking off shoes. Reliable large zip fastener and handy braid clips allowing using them in warm gloves as well located on the locks. On the inside the zipper has flap cover protection against wind and biting.

Tucked knees made for articulation are reinforced with plates of Cordura fabric.

Bottom of pants is tightened with wide rubber bands sewn into and the additional Velcro cuff adjusters, removing the load from the side zipper. There is a little volume control set allowing to wear the pants with thick boot-tops winter shoes. Cordura pads gain are located on the places most tended to rubbing- such as inner side of the pant-leg, on the back of the pants bottom where it has a contact with the shoes, in addition the bottom cuff are made of reinforced fabric.

Fly zipper is lengthened, it can be unzipped both from the top and bottom sides, so it is easy to use it with a variety of interfering layers of clothing.

Rubberized belt fastens with two buttons on the front. There are belt loops for pant belt up to 50 mm wide. On each side there are wide Velcro and button cuffs, reducing load from the side zipper. Fastening braces are sewn into the cuffs.

"Hump" type braces are provided with an easily accessible Velcro and a small height adjustment side binding. As the braces are attached to the front half of the pants, the back half can be detached as a bum flap.

Seating area of the pants is reinforced with the Cordura fabric pads.

All the main seams are made with using the double stitching. All the Velcro are sewn firmly. On the outer side of the pants there is a trimming made of an extra strong nylon thread COATS Nylbond (designed for the equipment). Loaded areas are reinforced with zigzag tacks using.
